5.3.2 Step 1

Upon receipt of the CatalogTransferMessage from the acquiring record company, the DSP shall communicate that message, potentially augmented by proprietary identifiers allocated by the DSP to the relevant elements of the releases, to the relinquishing record company. This is depicted as step (1b) in Figure 2.
